Thijs de Jong

I believe finance creates the most value when it looks beyond the numbers and helps drive the business forward.

Over almost three decades in technology, I have worked across entrepreneurial businesses, smaller organisations and global companies. From helping scale Moniforce to building and supporting new businesses within Oracle, I have worked at the intersection of finance, strategy, operations and leadership.

What I enjoy most is taking on a business challenge together with the people involved — understanding what is really happening, bringing different perspectives together and finding a practical way forward. I combine a board-level perspective with a hands-on approach, whether challenging a strategic assumption with the CEO or working through the underlying numbers with the finance team.

That experience shapes the way I work today: understand the business first, identify what really drives value, and use finance to help turn insight into action and business results.
